This is the option for anything beyond dust: fingerprints and oils that have set in, sticky residue from old sleeves or stickers, surface-level edge whitening, light holo scratches, minor dents. 2. A grading submission agent. Several Singapore agents who batch cards to PSA offer a quick wipe-down before submission. This is fine for a card that is already clean and just needs dust removed. It is not restoration. Ask exactly what they do to the card and with what, and if the answer involves any liquid, skip it.

3. Do it yourself. Dry microfiber cloth, gentle pressure, nothing wet. That is the entire safe DIY toolkit. It handles dust and fresh fingerprints and nothing else. We wrote a full breakdown of what is safe to do at home and what triggers an Authentic Altered flag.

How to tell a safe service from a risky one

A cleaning service can lower a card's value faster than any damage it started with if the work is detectable. PSA flags a card as Authentic Altered when it finds chemical residue, gloss changes, polish marks, recolouring, trimming or added material, and that label is permanent. Before handing over a card, ask any service these five questions. The complete list of what PSA, BGS and CGC consider altered explains why each one matters.

Do you use any chemicals, solvents or polish? The answer should be no.
Do you trim, recolour, fill or coat? The answer should be no, every time, for every card.
Do you assess before quoting? A service that quotes without seeing the card is guessing.
Will you tell me if a card should not be treated? Roughly 40 percent of edge whitening cases cannot be safely reduced. A good service turns those down.
Do I get before and after photos? You should be able to see exactly what changed.

Assessment is free and takes 3 to 5 business days from the time we receive your photos. Deep Clean is from S$19 per card and covers surface cleaning, dirt and debris removal and holo scratch treatment. Full Restoration is from S$39 per card and adds dent reduction, edge lift reduction and deeper scratch treatment. Most cards land between S$19 and S$99 depending on condition. How long it takes

Deep Clean takes 1 to 2 weeks and Full Restoration takes 2 to 4 weeks, counted from the day we receive the card. You get a specific estimate at the assessment stage, before you commit to anything.

How to get your cards to us

CardCureSG is a work-from-home operation with no walk-in shopfront, so there are two ways to hand over cards.

Drop-off. Message us on WhatsApp after your assessment and we arrange a drop-off point and time in Singapore.

Tracked mail. Each card in a penny sleeve and a semi-rigid holder, inside a bubble mailer, sent by tracked post. We confirm receipt with photos the day the cards arrive. The full packing method is in our shipping guide.

Singapore submissions only. We do not accept cards from overseas.

What we clean and what we do not

Pokémon cards only, English and Japanese, all sets from Base Set to the current expansion. Raw singles only, no slabs, sealed product, booster boxes or display cases.

Safely treatable: surface dust and fingerprints, sticky residue, light scratches on non-holo areas, light holo scratches, surface-level edge whitening, hairline pressure marks, minor dents.

Not treatable: creases, deep scratches through the print layer, bent or warped cards, water damage that has reached the cardstock, holo scratches where the foil has lifted, structural corner or edge damage. If your card is in this group, we tell you and recommend leaving it as is.

The process, start to finish

Send photos. Front and back, straight on, under decent light, through the submission form or WhatsApp.
Get an honest assessment. We tell you what can be treated, what cannot, and the exact price. No obligation.
Hand over the card. Drop-off or tracked mail. Payment is collected after the assessment and before work begins, by PayNow, bank transfer or cash.
Treatment. Dry methods where dry is the answer, controlled mechanical methods where that is the answer. Never chemical.
Return. Sleeved, in a semi-rigid holder, with before and after photos, ready for your grading submission.
